Title: Dragonwatch, Book 3 Pdf Master of the Phantom Isle

In the third book in the Dragonwatch series, Kendra leaves the timberland dragon sanctuary of Wyrmroost and travels to the other side of the world to a new and aquatic dragon preserve that teeters on the brink of being overthrown in the ongoing global dragon uprising.

The dragons have formally declared war on anyone who stands in their way of freedom and unrestrained power. With every dragon sanctuary that falls, Celebrant, the Dragon King, comes closer to his goal of world domination. No single mortal or creature can stop Celebrant. Kendra will need to raise an army of friends and allies to accomplish her mission to thwart Celebrant because her brother Seth and her closest ally, Bracken, are missing.

Cursed by the Key of Forgetting, Seth’s memories of his past—his relationships, experiences, and who he really is—are gone. For now he will align with his new mentor, Ronodin, the Dark Unicorn, who brings him to the Phantom Isle, the secret gateway to the Underworld. Though not formally a prisoner, Seth is heavily influenced by Ronodin, who wants to use him and his special Shadow Charmer powers for his own dark ends.

Seth and Kendra have braved the Fairy Queen, battled the Demon King, and survived the Dragon King during the dragon uprising. Now alone, Seth will face a new dark foe: the Underking—the ruler of the “undead”: the zombies, skeletons, and restless wraiths who tirelessly serve their dark master. He will find himself in bondage to the Underking and obligated to complete nefarious tasks for him.

Also on the Phantom Isle, but imprisoned, is Bracken, who claims to be a unicorn, the son of the Fairy Queen, and a former friend of Seth. Bracken and Kendra try to remind Seth about his past, but, unable to access his memories, he isn’t sure who to believe. For now, he will use his newly discovered magical abilities, which could be a game changer in helping Ronodin create chaos.

In this new fantasy adventure, Dragonwatch: Master of the Phantom Isle, readers travel to a ghost island, a mermaid city, and a dangerous archipelago as they meet new fantastical characters and get reintroduced to old friends from Fablehaven. As power shifts back and forth from the forces of light and dark, who will gain the ultimate advantage to win the epic dragon war?

We'll just read for five minutes... (four hours later) Wait that's the last page!?! Brandons done it again, he's managed to write a book that keeps me enthralled from cover to cover. This book series is a rollercoaster of emotions that doesn't seem to be slowing down, honestly this is one of my favorites. If you're looking for Magic, Dragons, world building, mythical creatures, action, adventure, and some quality time with Hermit Trolls this is the book for you.Ps. Can't wait for the next one.A perfect book 3. My favorite of DW so far. Mull is one of the best fiction creators of all time! Brandon mull is a very creative writer. Its rare to find books that have unique, fully developed characters, that are truly original, but Mull does it time and again. If you haven't read them, the 'Beyonders' are his best books. It's a trilogy with an entire world full of amazingly imagined inhabitants that are utterly unique and very well crafted. Next is the 'fablehaven' series of 5 books. Also wonderful and creative, and dragonwatch stems from that story. So far dragonwatch isn't quite as well rounded, but each one gets better, as with FH, so I'm hoping by book 5 it will be another of my favorites from Mull. Five kingdoms is good too. Another 5 book set. Which is also cleverly created with "unparalleled imaginative engineering". But if you like any of his books, and haven't read 'Beyonders' then make them your next purchase. It's one of my top 3 favorite books of all time. The story is a little corny starting out, kid traveling through a hippo is not up to Mulls usual creative standards, but the story itself, and the characters especially, are simply amazing. It really is a Harry Potter rival, although very different, and hard to compare writing styles. But it puts Mull in between Rowling and Tolkien in my opinion. Making him one of the 3 best fictional story creators of all time. So give it a chance and if you're disappointed then you're too dumb to be reading books anyway :-)Also, I read others' reviews and wanted to say, I agree this books protags had an easy time resolving their individual problems, especially at the end, but saw that as more of a segway into the next book and had no issue with it. It reminded me of FH where many smaller hurdles were introduced and quickly defeated throughout the books. To those who said this was his worst book of the series, ridivulous! So ridiculous I misspelled ridiculous in response. It simply was too ridiculous to be anything but ridivulous. But mostly, to the many who claimed it was his best book of all, that is RIDICULOUS! All 3 Beyonders were much better, most of the original 5 FH books were better, candy shop war, was his worst, or the sequel. Those books seemed like they were written by someone else to me. I didn't think they were anywhere near the level of his other works. And five kingdoms is much worse as a whole. But really these are just one guys opinions, and it's crazy ridivulous that i would feel the need to share all of them with you strangers on Amazon. I just think it's insane how people review things nowadays. If I'm buying an actual product, like a drone for instance, I'll look at people's questions and responses, and I'd say 1/3 at least are the most idiotic people, saying the most idiotic things. Someone will ask if the drone comes with an extra battery and out of 7 responses 2 or 3 will say essentially that they dont know. "I haven't received mine yet, so I'm not sure." Or "I bought it as a gift and so i didn't open it" THEN WHY THE F ARE YOU WRITING A RESPONSE AT ALL??!! then 1 or 2 will say something like "it doesn't need an extra battery because it's got a really large one and it lasts longer than most" or "a second battery isn't a problem really, but it does have a short range and so im not going to buy it" WHICH ARE NOT ANSWERS. THEY ARE YOUR OWN STUPID IRRELEVANT OPINIONS WHICH NOBODY ASKED FOR, AND NOBODY COULD POSSIBLY BENEFIT FROM. then MAYBE one or two people will respond "yes, it comes with 2 batteries" or "no". That's like 28% of people that aren't insane or idiots, or both. Kind of like how my review of this book was all about his other books and my opinions, stated as facts, without any actual specific reasons to legitimize such claims. Anyway, this review is for the 72% of you that just truly suck. You're not so special that i want to know what you're thinking, no matter how irrelevant it is to the topic. Please get a couple more cats and bother them in the future. Ya, i suck. I hope you dummies read this whole insane rant. Brandon Mull truly is a fantastic story creator though, and this book was exactly what I wanted out of book 3. I think 4 and 5 will ramp up the action, and the intricacy of what that action is for, as per his usual style. Fablehaven 1-3 were cool stories, but he didn't really unpack the main adventure until 4 and 5, and he did a magnificent job of engineering the trials and tribulations of all our main characters. He's the man, and I'm quite sure he won't disappoint. Not the best of the series, but hopefully a good bridge to the final books. I liked the story and is a good middle book in the series. It held true to the Fabelhaven world. The resolution of the main conflicts for Kendra and Seth seemed to get resolved too easily. Things tended to get worked out without much difficulty. They had a ton of help from outside sources which takes away from their roles as the main protagonists. There is a typo on page 469 of my version. Braked should be Braken.
