It’ll keep you guessing.This book starts off with a bang and never lets up.Murder, kidnapping and evil getting its due Medical examiner Dr. Faith McIntyre and Texas Ranger Mitchell Hayden work together to put the pieces together of current murders and 30-year-ago murders in Austin, Texas. Lots of suspense and with the puzzle seeming never to come together as DNA testing brings out surprising information. A bit of romance adds to the book without taking anything away from the tension of the investigations. As I expect from Ms. Burton -- strong, smart characters (both good and bad), scary moments, a satisfying plot/story and my feeling replete completing another bang-up murder mystery.Excellent read I gave Cut and Run a five star rating. It has been quite some time since I've read a book that captured my attention the way this book has. I recommend this book to serious readers. Take note that the book will be hard to put aside.
